We are now accepting registrations for our Fall 2022 Semester. If you click on the links below, you will be able to download the forms you need for registration.
I know it’s hard to believe, with the weather suddenly turning colder, but we are now accepting registrations from current and new families for our Spring 2022 Semester!
On our front page, you will find links for the registration form, as well as our family information, release, and medical information forms. Instructions for turning in the forms and making your payments are on the forms themselves.
A couple of notes:
Spring Break – Like all of you, we would like to hope no one is sick or worrying about Covid by Spring Semester. Knowing that pivoting with flexibility has been so helpful, we have blocked out the week of March 7~11 for Spring Break. However, as we did this fall, we’d like to have some flexibility with the schedule for Spring Break, in case of weather issues/site restrictions. If the weather is beautiful that week, we might meet and scatter makeup days as needed during the semester. Please feel free to contact us if you would like more specifics on this.
Parker – You’ll notice that we have added a third class in our Parker location, to better meet the needs of our Parker families. We had a bit of a long waiting list at Parker this fall, so please tell your friends and help us spread the word as we have openings once again!
Praying you have wonderful and blessed holidays,
Coach Dave and Debbie Kemp

Hi PE+Plus Moms and Dads,
This fall, as usual, we are looking forward to offering our PE+Plus students great physical education, fellowship and fun. To simplify things for everyone, we are planning to be outdoors for the first six weeks of our coming fall semester, possibly more. We have tons of great activities planned, and will be adding in a bit of track and a few of the field day events.
This decision to bring things outdoors for awhile has been in the works for weeks and will give us a bit more flexibility.
Also, speaking of 6 weeks outdoors — a reminder for those who are interested, we have the new 6 week outdoor classes in conjunction with True North Homeschooling in the Ken Caryl area. The classes are filling up quickly!
We hope you all are doing well and are headed into a wonderful fall of learning and warm family times!

Hi PE Families and Friends,
Coach Dave is so excited to see everyone again, and do some amazing PE. It’s been far too long!
At the bottom of this post, you will find the link to our registration form for this fall semester (it’s also on the home page of this site). It has all the information about class sites, days, and times. Please print it out, fill it in, and return it to us with a $50 deposit per family to register your students. If you already have a deposit with us, please do still turn in the new registration form for fall and notate that we already have your deposit. If you choose to pay by check, you can mail your deposit and completed form to us at the address on the bottom of the form. BUT… we are also able to accept Zelle payments now! You can send your payment via Zelle to (720) 300-0231. If you pay by Zelle, you can either mail your completed registration form to us, or scan it or take a picture of it and email it to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
However you choose to get your deposit to us, please plan to pay the remainder of your tuition by the second week of classes. If you’re paying by check, you can bring it with you and give it to the helper mom for your class. She’ll see that Coach Dave gets it. If you’re “Zelle-ing” it, just send it by week two. 🙂
We also have a newly updated family information and release form and a medical information form. Even if you’ve filled these out before, we need new forms from everyone. You can bring them with you to the first day of class (or send them in with your registration if you’d like to). The links are at the bottom of this post, but also on our home page.
Blessings, and have a great summer!

Dear PE+PLUS Families and Friends,
Hope all is well at your homes! First of all, I’d like to say again that I am missing you all and PE greatly!! (Dads and Moms, too!)
After much consideration, prayer, and counsel, we are not planning to start PE+PLUS again until the fall (Sept. 7).
— I really believe in a standard of high quality PE and don’t want to offer a poor substitute for that.
— Currently, families are in very different situations and we don’t feel that we can successfully navigate the expectations while creating a great experience for everyone.
— In addition, we continue to have different expectations from each of our sites, and we also need to meet standard insurance requirements to be insured for highly active classes of PE fun!
Our personal health concerns continue to be a factor, although that situation is continuing to improve. Thank you so much for praying, and to those who have reached out.
In the meantime, I am still continuing to work on my book. And while I hope to be doing lots of painting during this time, let it be known thatI like painting but I LOVE teaching PE!
Of course, if you still have your deposit with us, we will be happy to refund the amount or hold it until the fall. Just let us know!
Blessings! ~ Coach Dave & Debbie Kemp
Hey Dads and Moms!
Happy New Years to you and the kids! Thanks for your prayers and support!
First, even the most lenient site’s restrictions right now are too much to do PE. We continue to factor in your concerns as well as we make these decisions. The feedback we have received from you all, indicates that some families do have very real medical concerns, but also that many families don’t want masks worn while actively participating in PE (It is of course not our preference to have kids masked while playing.) If your thoughts have changed at all since we sent out the survey this past year, please do give us an update. We are interested in any thoughts that you might have. You can contact us at email@example.com.
And so we keep watching and praying. Please tell the kids that while they are hard at school work at home, I am busy writing a book about PE!
There is a possibility we could do some outdoor PE in March & April at 2 or 3 sites, although spring in Colorado is often wet and/or cold. We’ll let you know as soon as we know more.
Please know I miss the kids and PE very much too and look forward to seeing everyone and doing PE again soon.
Blessings! ~ Coach Dave & Debbie
Missing you all very much, but want you to have a great Christmas!
In light of that, one of the games I greatly enjoy playing with the younger kids (K-3rd grade) is called the “Holiday Game.” It is a play~acting game that I play near the holidays to help keep kids excited for the holidays, as well as introducing kids to other fun family traditions. Therefore, I model the game after the Kemp family traditions (some from when I was a kid!).
Here goes. I have 10 things we do around the holidays that all have actions and sounds. Please feel free, of course, to add your own.
MAKING SNOW ANGELS (laying on the ground, moving arms and legs making swishing sounds)
SLEDDING (sitting on the ground making fast air sounds rocking back and forth & then crashing or falling off the sled ~which my kids loved to do at the end of the slide!)
SNOWBALL FIGHT (not PC I know😃) (pretend to throw snow ~ get hit and fall down playfully grumbling)
TRIMMING THE TREE (putting up the ornaments and lights, then standing back & admiring the tree with “Oos” & “Ahs”!)
WARMING UP BY THE FIRE & DRINKING HOT COCOA OR TEA (warming your hands to the fire and sipping the hot cocoa with a saucer & a pinkie out!)
MAKING & EATING CHRISTMAS COOKIES (roll out the dough, stamp out the cookies, put them in the oven, smell that good Christmas cookie smell, eat the cookies~ both hands shoveling them in, then lying on the ground rubbing your stomach moaning and groaning because you had too many cookies!)
SINGING CAROLS (leader leads songs, moving hands like a conductor, singing one line of “We Wish You a Merry Christmas, Silent Night, Jingle Bells!)
OPENING PACKAGES ON CHRISTMAS MORNING (kneeling on the ground tearing packages open with both hands then squealing in delight over the gifts!)
WASH THE DISHES BY HAND (I was the dishwasher way back when, before dishwashers😃)(kneeling on the ground rubbing your hands in circular fashion pretending to have a plate in between making wet water swishing sounds)
STOP, DROP & PRAY (drop to your knees, put hands together in prayer fashion~ thanking the Lord for a good day, then putting your hand together in rocking fashion, thanking Him for the baby Jesus around Christmas time, then putting both hands on the side of your face like next to a pillow say “Nighty Night! and then do some good snoring!)
You will need a space where you can do all the above traditions and where you can move freely. You will also need someone to guide things (and of course to play along ~ kids love it when parents and older siblings get silly with them and play act with them!😃).
To begin, one older child or adult demonstrates & names all the actions & sounds of each tradition above in a certain part of the room (You can use the 4 corners of the room for 4 traditions, then the middle between each corner for another 4, then the very middle for WASH THE DISHES BY HAND and then anywhere for STOP, DROP & PRAY). Ask the kids to just watch at first and try and remember as much as they can.
After you’ve done this then have everyone get up and start doing the traditions. The leader will call out directions and prompt where and what if needed.
Go around and do all the traditions once, but not in the same order as first demonstrated, sprinkling in STOP, DROP & PRAY & WASH THE DISHES BY HAND for fun at random.
In my set of traditions, I build one upon another at times. For example I will have them start with snow angels and then go to sledding, then to snowball fight, then hear your mom calling to stop the snow balling and come inside near the fire (or heater) and get warm & have hot cocoa, then what goes with hot cocoa? Xmas cookies! Then what do you have to do after making cookies? The dishes! Then you want to stop drop & pray, and so on.
To keep the game exciting, each tradition should only last 10-15 seconds, and play for just 10-15 minutes total with 2 or 3 rounds of traditions; then, on the second and third go around of the traditions, do them faster & faster! If you’d like to play the game longer consider replacing the Kemp traditions with your own, as I mentioned earlier, or others that you know of (ie. snowboarding, skiing, ice skating, driving to grandma’s, setting the table, cooking the ham or turkey) or other traditions from around the world.
I hope you all have a Happy, Holy, Warm Holidays & Merry Christmas!🎄🎉
Blessings! Happy Birthday Jesus!
Coach & Debbie
We hope and pray that you and your families are staying healthy and active. Coach Dave really misses teaching your kids every day!
The Kemps are well, and thankful. Coach has been doing a lot of painting, with this long warmer-than-usual fall.
Usually, around this time of year, we’d be sending out registration forms for the coming semester. We don’t need to tell you that this year has made everything a bit different, but we wanted to update you on our thoughts and plans.
Two of our usual sites still can’t host us for PE in the early part of spring semester, so we are continuing to evaluate the evolving situation.
We usually start the spring semester of PE about the last week of January, but will definitely not begin before February to buy a bit more time to navigate all of the variables. The minute we know more definitely, when and where we can meet for classes, we’ll let you all know, and then open up registration. Thanks for your patience! And thank you to those of you who have sent us encouraging notes — they have meant so much to us.
Refunds ~ Lastly, just a reminder that if you want refunds for the deposits you sent us for this last fall, you can still contact us, and we’ll get those out to you as promptly as possible. If you want to leave your deposits with us until PE starts again, that’s an option, too. Many of you have already reached out to us about what you’d like us to do with your deposits, so thank you!
As we remember Christ’s coming to us and enjoy the dawning of a new year, we pray you will all find great joy in the holidays.
Coach Dave and Debbie
